45% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions
What is a resolution? According to Merriam-Webster, the word resolution means“the act of finding an answer or solution to a conflict, problem, etc.; the act of resolving something; an answer or solution to something.” 45% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions. In fact, according to the findings from the Statistic Brain Research Institute, of the top 10 New Year’s resolutions for 2015,
Getting Organized ranked number two, and arguably number one if you were to include getting organized within the category of self-improvement.

One of the reasons we were inspired to start Organizing Resolutions with Starks was to help and support people in a way that was unique to their needs. People start out the New Year looking to organize their homes, work, and/or life, but after a short period, lose their momentum and stop all together. Success rates indicate that only about 46% actually keep their resolutions past six months, with only 8% of people being successful in achieving their resolution overall, which means that well over 90% (i.e., 92%) of resolutions end in failure for the year. However, there is hope! People who clearly identify and strategically plan their resolutions are 10 times more likely to achieve their goals than people who do not, and this is where we can help you make the positive change in your life.
We know we can be an elaborate part of helping our clients find the needed answers to the various conflicts related to their personal resolutions connected to organizing issues, or team organizational dynamic struggles within their small business. Organizing success can reduce stress, help protect the environment, address leadership styles, team dynamics and development in the workplace, and can even assist with the multiple challenges associated with aging. This is why we made the word resolutions part of our brand name, as strategic organizing resolutions create the needed space for progression towards overcoming challenges. However, to accomplish this, we first must create and then stick to a strategic plan of action.
